Our client, a prominent player in the insurance industry, is seeking a dedicated and licensed Commercial Producer to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of commercial insurance products. Focus:
Prospect, cold-call, and cultivate leads to expand the client base for commercial insurance products. Conduct comprehensive assessments of prospective clients’ insurance requirements and offer suitable coverage recommendations. Cultivate and nurture relationships with business clientele by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing insurance-related queries and concerns. Customize insurance solutions to align with each client’s specific risk management needs, encompassing property, liability, workers’ compensation, and other commercial insurance lines. Collaborate closely with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate policy terms, pricing, and coverage limits to ensure optimal client outcomes. Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, elucidating coverage options, premiums, and policy specifics in a clear and concise manner. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while adhering to company policies and regulatory mandates.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging insurance products to offer informed advice to clients and maintain a competitive edge. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and policy documentation using designated CRM software or systems. Engage in ongoing training and professional development endeavors to enhance knowledge of insurance products, sales strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field (preferred). Possession of a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license. Demonstrated track record of success in sales, preferably within the insurance sector with a focus on commercial insurance. Profound understanding of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, workers’ compensation, and business interruption insurance. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal aptitude. Ability to foster rapport with clients and forge enduring business relationships. Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, capable of both independent work and effective collaboration within a team. Proficiency in utilizing computer software and CRM systems for lead management, client data organization, and sales activities. Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong organizational capabilities. Willingness to adapt to evolving market conditions and regulatory landscapes.
