While situated in a smaller city, the team offers a close-knit and supportive environment with access to post-acute home health and hospital-based services. They are now recruiting a compassionate mental health professional to complete their network of outpatient care providers. This role demands a versatile clinician with a deep understanding of cutting-edge counseling theories and practices.

Focus:

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients.
• Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based counseling techniques and mental health protocols.
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Connect patients to community resources and support services as needed.

Skill Set:

• Master’s degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Eligible for licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Michigan.
• 2+ years of experience providing mental health or substance abuse counseling.
• Strong clinical assessment, case formulation, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to culturally-competent, trauma-informed care.
• Current LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license preferred.
• A SAC-IT or CSAC certification is highly desirable, showcasing specialized training in substance abuse counseling.
