Our client, a leading nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations and ensure long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the CEO, Board of Directors, and relevant stakeholders.
• Lead the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
• Manage the organization’s grants, ensuring proper tracking, reporting, and compliance with grant requirements.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to support organizational growth and sustainability.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, donors, and financial institutions.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a nonprofit organization.
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Proven experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience in grants management, including tracking, reporting, and compliance.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and commitment to the mission of the organization.
