Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, your key duties will include:
• General Accounting Tasks: Accurately record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal review and compliance purposes.
• Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
• Budget Monitoring: Track expenses and revenues to help maintain budgetary adherence.
• Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience: At least 1 year of bookkeeping or general accounting experience. Fresh graduates with relevant coursework or internships are encouraged to apply.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
