Beverage Procurement Agent
Our client, a leading beverage manufacturer, is seeking a Beverage Procurement Agent to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in sourcing and purchasing ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products for the beverage industry. The Beverage Procurement Agent will play a key role in ensuring the company’s supply chain efficiency and product quality.

Focus:
Source and procure ingredients, packaging materials, and finished beverage products from domestic and international suppliers.
Analyze market trends and pricing in the beverage industry to make informed purchasing decisions.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality control teams to ensure procured items meet specifications and standards.
Manage inventory levels and lead times to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
Evaluate and qualify new suppliers, considering factors such as quality, reliability, and sustainability practices.
Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies in procurement processes.
Coordinate with logistics teams to manage the timely delivery of procured items.
Utilize procurement software to track orders, manage supplier relationships, and generate reports.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the beverage or food industry.
Strong understanding of beverage ingredients, production processes, and industry trends.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make strategic decisions.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in contract management and order processing.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control practices in the beverage industry.
