Automotive Sales Account Manager
A leading player in the automotive aftermarket is seeking a driven Automotive Sales Account Manager to support business growth across the Southeast. The company is thriving in a $3B+ segment fueled by extended vehicle lifespans and rising demand for repair solutions.
This newly created, field-based role is perfect for a self-starter who excels in relationship-building, sales enablement, and frontline training. You’ll serve as the go-to regional contact for key retail accounts, driving revenue through in-store visits, staff coaching, and targeted business development.
This Role Offers:
Competitive base salary plus commission tied to new business generation.
Mileage reimbursement (with future potential for monthly stipend or auto allowance).
Corporate card for travel and lodging expenses.
Opportunity to grow with a fast-scaling company that’s deeply invested in employee success.
Focus:
Serve as the primary field liaison for established accounts, fostering trust and top-tier service.
Visit up to 15 stores per day within the territory to deliver product training and sales support to commercial teams.
Collaborate closely with client-side area managers to reinforce program value and troubleshoot store-level concerns.
Conduct in-store workshops and attend open house events and regional trade shows to boost brand presence.
Perform regular SWOT analyses and deliver monthly reports on sales activity, product adoption, and competitive trends.
Proactively uncover and pitch opportunities to introduce products into new locations, accounts, and distribution channels.
Skill Set:
2–5 years of customer-facing experience in account management, outside sales, or retail training. Automotive aftermarket exposure is a plus, but not required.
Competitive mindset – collegiate athletics or other performance-driven experiences are strongly valued.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for teaching and motivating others.
Disciplined and self-motivated with the ability to manage your schedule independently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM experience is helpful.
Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned region.
