Attorney (Wealth & Asset Protection)

A leading legal firm, renowned for its expertise in estate planning and probate law, is looking to add an Attorney to their team. The successful candidate will offer specialized legal counsel in estate planning, managing a range of tasks from client consultation to document drafting and estate administration. This role requires a deep understanding of clients’ financial and familial scenarios, enabling the creation of tailored estate plans to secure their future and legacy.

Focus:

Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their estate planning needs. Advise on and create legal strategies including wills, trusts, and advance directives. Draft, review, and oversee legal documents ensuring accuracy and client goals alignment. Develop tax-efficient strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize asset protection. Coordinate with other professionals like financial advisors to provide holistic solutions. Manage estate administration, including probate and trust administration. Stay updated on legal changes and advancements in estate planning and probate law. Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent client service.

Skill Set

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school. Active legal practice license, with preference for Virginia or eligibility for Virginia practice. Minimum 2 years of experience in estate planning, with consideration for motivated candidates with less experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction. Excellent attention to detail with exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage caseloads independently. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Involvement in relevant legal associations is advantageous.
