Associate Construction Project Manager
Our client, a leading electrical contracting firm with a history of delivering complex and innovative electrical systems across various industries, is seeking an Associate Construction Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager or other senior leadership, this role is essential in assisting the management team in planning, scheduling, and overseeing the administration of assigned projects. The Associate Construction Project Manager will be integral in ensuring projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction, all while adhering to company policies and profitability targets.

Focus:
Assist in reviewing owner contracts to ensure all project activities are aligned with contractual obligations.
Support the development of master project schedules, quality control programs, and site-specific safety and logistics plans.
Participate in the contract buyout process in accordance with company policies, ensuring completion within 90 days.
Aid in establishing project-specific safety and quality programs to maintain the highest standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Document and manage key project activities, including punch list processes, owner training sessions, and the preparation of operation manuals and warranties.
Assist in monitoring project costs, ensuring they remain aligned with the budget.
Help manage project schedules and provide timely updates to ensure project milestones are met.
Collaborate in identifying potential risks that could impact project cost, schedule, or client satisfaction.
Assist in the preparation of monthly project status reports and executive summaries to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
Minimum of five years of experience in construction, design, finance, or project management.
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) as well as standard office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, project scheduling, cost control, quality assurance, and construction documentation.
