They are hiring an AI Software Engineer to support the design team in driving first-of-its-kind gameplay with AI experiences that will thrill players.
The AI Software Engineer will be responsible for the development and innovation around complex AI, gameplay mechanics, and other modes of play alongside the design team, constantly incorporating new features and ideas into the game. This person will be someone who is engaged with players, understands what keeps them engaged, and cares deeply about gaming as a medium.

Focus:
• Develop, maintain, and extend AI behaviors, dynamics, and interactions into gaming software in addition to other features and systems.
• Write code in C/C++ and other appropriate languages and participate in code reviews for peers.
• Research and propose improvements to in game AI and character behaviors.
• Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks.
• Generate system documentation and test cases for assigned systems.
• Test for and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Assist in gameplay and design issues and help create improvements.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of experience in AI and gameplay software development.
• Strong knowledge of advanced AI concepts such as deep learning, patterns, and pathing.
• Proficiency with C, C++, C#, or Java is required.
• Excellent debugging and optimizing skills. Ability to quickly prototype and iterate in collaboration with others.
• Strong analytical, artistic, communication, and technical skills.
• Advanced attention to detail with the ability to see the details as an important piece to the bigger picture and end goal.
• Wide-ranging knowledge of gaming trends.
