With a recent series of acquisitions, the company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable operations across multiple entities. Focus:
• Oversee and manage the full-cycle accounts payable process for seven entities, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure professional and efficient payment processing.
• Collaborate with the Controller, CFO, and leadership teams to align accounts payable operations with broader financial objectives.
• Assist with integrating accounts payable processes across newly acquired companies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Work closely with the accounting team to support financial reporting, audits, and month-end close processes.
• Mentor and lead a small team of accounts payable clerks and assistants.
• Assist in the migration to new accounting software, transitioning from Sage MAS 500 to a new ERP system.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in accounts payable management, preferably in a multi-entity or growth-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable systems and accounting principles.
• Proven leadership experience managing complex accounts payable functions.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage MAS 500, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
