Position Summary
We are seeking an Account Manager to support and grow a defined territory of existing commercial customers while identifying new business opportunities in the fire protection space. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with an Account Executive and operations team to ensure excellent service delivery, retention, and revenue growth. This is a client-facing, relationship-focused role that blends consultative sales with strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and proactive support.
• Conduct business reviews with key accounts, identifying opportunities for additional services and upsells.
• Coordinate closely with field operations to address customer needs and oversee service execution.
• Maintain territory revenue through account renewals, retention initiatives, and upselling enhanced solutions.
• Identify and pursue leads via marketing campaigns, referrals, networking, and cold outreach when necessary.
• Manage a robust sales pipeline and document opportunities using Salesforce CRM tools.
• Monitor customer trends and business intelligence to guide strategy, growth initiatives, and value delivery.
• Foster collaboration internally and externally to optimize customer engagement and retention strategies.
• Represent the company at site walkthroughs and customer events, occasionally requiring regional travel.
Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in account management, client services, or related B2B roles.
• Background in fire protection, HVAC, facilities services, or technical sales strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
• Demonstrated success in client retention, upselling, and cross-selling within a consultative sales model.
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; travel required for occasional onsite visits.
