As a Superintendent – Commercial Construction, you will oversee the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to timelines and budgets. This leadership role requires close collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects that align with company standards and client goals.

Focus:

Ensure site safety compliance with OSHA standards and company policies, including conducting inspections and addressing deficiencies.

Oversee project execution, managing schedules, resources, and subcontractor performance to meet deadlines and budget requirements.

Train and lead field personnel, fostering collaboration and addressing challenges proactively.

Develop and enforce short-term schedules, including four-week lookaheads, to optimize project efficiency.

Coordinate city and state inspections and ensure all work adheres to quality and design specifications.

Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, design professionals, and vendors, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships.

Utilize project management software (e.g., Procore) to track progress, manage punch lists, and maintain daily logs.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address any deficiencies directly.

Skill Set:

Proven experience in commercial construction project management, with a strong understanding of safety, scheduling, and quality control.

Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on mentoring and managing field personnel and subcontractors.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills to oversee multiple aspects of complex projects.

Proficient in construction project management tools (e.g., Procore) and scheduling software.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical and operational challenges efficiently.

In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.

Ability to foster positive client and vendor relationships to ensure project success.
