About the Role

Join an emerging leader in GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) tailored for AI and machine learning applications. This pivotal role empowers a forward-thinking financial executive to architect and scale the finance function – delivering critical insights and control across a fast-growing AI infrastructure platform. As a central figure in the leadership team, you’ll ensure financial discipline, shape fiscal strategy, and fuel sustainable expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Board to define financial strategy aligned with expansion goals and operational clarity.

• Design financial systems and internal controls capable of scaling with infrastructure demands and GAAP compliance.

• Lead all financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and compliance efforts with rigorous attention to detail.

• Align pricing models and unit economics for GPUaaS offering, enabling clarity and elasticity in cost and revenue metrics.

• Translate technical metrics – e.g., GPU utilization, cloud infrastructure cost – into meaningful financial KPIs.

• Oversee cash flow, capital planning, audits, tax compliance, and financial governance.

• Support capital raise efforts and investor relations as the business evaluates growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior financial roles, ideally in high-growth tech, cloud, or infrastructure-related sectors.

• Deep expertise in GAAP accounting, financial planning, budgeting, internal controls, and risk management.

• Demonstrated hands-on leadership in scaling finance functions and systems.

• Strong business partnering – able to translate technical operations (GPU infra costs) into financial insight.

• Advanced qualifications (CPA, MBA) are favored but not mandatory.

• Based in – or willing to relocate to – the Bay Area for on-site collaboration.
