Senior Construction Project Manager

Our client, a leader in the design, installation, and maintenance of complex building technology solutions, is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their dynamic team.

Focus:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and manage all phases of assigned projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Oversee project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and other staff, ensuring effective coordination and execution.
• Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and address any issues related to cost, quality, or safety.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
• Administer change requests and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers, to resolve issues and maintain project alignment.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including status updates and performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control and profitability.
• Implement and uphold quality standards and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of ten years’ experience in project management within the construction industry, with a significant focus on electrical systems and technology solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large scale projects, including familiarity with the specific requirements of hospital construction projects.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant tools.
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
