Overview:

An innovative consumer lifestyle brand, renowned for its design-forward products and commitment to sustainability, is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Management. This role is pivotal in scaling operations to meet growing demand across eCommerce, retail, and wholesale channels. The ideal candidate will lead fulfillment strategies, optimize warehouse operations, and drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance order processing efficiency and shipment accuracy across all sales channels.
• Lead and mentor a team comprising Assistant Managers, Key Accounts Manager, and eCommerce Manager, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline fulfillment processes and resolve operational challenges.
• Analyze fulfillment data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee warehouse layout and workflow to optimize productivity and space utilization.
• Implement best practices in inventory management to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards within the fulfillment process.
• Manage the fulfillment budget, controlling costs without compromising service quality.
• Address escalated customer issues related to fulfillment promptly and satisfactorily.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to prevent operational disruptions.
• Contribute to the development of a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations leadership within retail, eCommerce, or consumer goods industries, preferably in mid-sized companies.
• Proven experience in distribution center management and logistics.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP or SAP Business One.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); familiarity with Deposco is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com or Wrike.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor teams and work cross-functionally.
• Experience in budget management, strategic planning, and aligning operational strategies with business objectives.

Additional Information:

• This role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
• The company experiences significant seasonal demand increases, particularly in Q4, requiring flexibility for evenings and weekends during peak periods.
