System Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized System Administrator to join our fast-growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all IT systems and support functions are operating smoothly across multiple branches. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to manage projects independently from start to finish, demonstrating excellent follow-through and attention to detail.

This is a full-time, on-site role with occasional travel required to other branches as needed. Flexibility to provide support during non-standard business hours (e.g., early morning troubleshooting) is essential.

This Role Offers:

Primarily based at the corporate office, with occasional visits to other branch locations.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, with the expectation of being on-site daily. Some flexibility may be offered in the future based on performance and reliability.

Occasional travel to branch sites for specific projects or troubleshooting.

Focus:

Manage user accounts, security groups, and permissions within Microsoft environments (Active Directory, Microsoft 365).

Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless user setups and access control.

Provide end-user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues (e.g., desktops, monitors, phones).

Manage and maintain work cell phones and related systems.

Coordinate with third-party providers on high-level network issues (Tier 3/4).

Set up and maintain security cameras, two-way radios, and related IT equipment.

Oversee and support the rollout of new phone systems and other IT infrastructure projects.

Independently manage multiple IT projects and day-to-day tasks, ensuring timely completion.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists meticulously.

Maintain and update IT asset inventories and documentation with accuracy.

Act as the first point of contact for technical issues across branches.

Proactively identify and resolve IT-related problems, sometimes requiring early morning or after-hours support.

Work closely with leadership and other departments to align IT operations with business needs.

Occasionally travel to branch locations (e.g., Prescott, Tucson) for on-site support or project execution.

Skill Set:

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Strong troubleshooting skills with a “get it done” mentality.

Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

Ability to work effectively with non-technical users and provide clear, supportive guidance.

Focus:

Serve as the technical point of contact to support sales teams and customers, addressing technical inquiries during the sales process.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

At least 5 years of experience in sales consulting, technical pre-sales, or solutions engineering roles.

Proven success in technical consulting or solution architecture engagements for enterprise-level clients.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate constructively.

Preferred certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).

Deep expertise in IT infrastructure technologies such as servers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure IaaS), networking, backup and recovery, storage, and security.

Familiarity with VMware cloud IaaS platforms is highly desirable.

Experience with Cisco, VMware, Veeam, Zerto, Netsurion, Dell EMC, or NetApp products is a strong advantage.

Our client, a leader in data center operations, seeks a highly skilled Sr. Data Center Technician to join their critical environments team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and operational integrity of the facility’s critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data center maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting, with a strong focus on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

Focus:

• Support the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program for the data center and assigned facilities, ensuring operational reliability.

• Utilize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) to ensure safe and effective maintenance practices.
• Act as liaison for client requests, providing Level 1 response for server issues, troubleshooting, and hardware swaps.
• Execute customer installations, including cabinet and cage setups, cross-connects, and cable testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with critical cabling infrastructure using appropriate test equipment.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure the effective and safe completion of maintenance and project work.
• Respond to building system alarms, prioritizing critical load preservation, system stabilization, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for operational tasks.

Skill Set:

• Journeyman-level skills in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC disciplines, acquired through an associate’s degree, technical training, or equivalent experience.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 data centers, with a strong background in O&M or building engineering roles.
• Knowledge of network copper and fiber termination methods.
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and work order control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and stabilize critical systems using graphic user interfaces and other tools.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, Visio, and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and workloads effectively.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high professional standards.
