VP Sales – DAS, WiFi, Wireless Solutions

Our client is a leading systems integrator providing wireless deployment services for in-building DAS, small cells, and enterprise-grade WiFi. They are an aggressively growing integrator with a strong industry reputation. They are hiring a VP Sales to drive a leading market region in wireless connectivity solutions for skyscrapers, office buildings, and other enterprise-level venues.

The VP Sales is a newly created position with strong executive support and significant market opportunity within untapped market share. They will capitalize on sales opportunities to new customers within the target sales region.

Focus:

• Identify Tier 1 and Tier 2 enterprise-level prospects. Present wireless connectivity solutions as meaningful business opportunities for these end customers.
• Educate enterprise business owners on connectivity augmentation solutions, including small cells, in-building DAS, and more.
• Cultivate strong business relationships within the sales region, identifying sales opportunities with new clients at the enterprise level.
• Turn major market opportunities into technology solutions.
• Manage SLAs and customer service strategies for computer, server, and data center customers.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and additional training to account managers as needed.

 

Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in technical sales, with a strong history of success managing large sales territories and overseeing sales teams.
• Direct experience working for an OEM, integrator, or third-party neutral host. Carrier/MNO experience is also a plus.
• Extensive industry exposure within wireless infrastructure, connectivity, and other wireless solutions for enterprise and midsize “middleprise” customers.
• Strong grasp of the pros and cons of carrier solutions versus small cells.
• Existing network of carrier and OEM relationships.
• Ability to discuss connectivity technology, including:
  • Neutral host DAS (distributed antenna systems)
  • Small cells
  • WiFi
  • 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G
  • Cybersecurity and mobile device security
• Excellent skills in communication, technical presentations, and contract negotiation.
