Our client delivers connected devices for the modern smart home. Their outstanding wireless products are renowned in commercial and consumer markets. They are hiring a Sr. Technical Product Manager, a newly created position, who will own the end-to-end product lifecycle within a growing IoT product team.
The Sr. Technical Product Manager will interface with top engineers, marketers, and salespeople working on top products in IoT/M2M, cellular, WiFi, and more. They will work with major players across many industries to integrate these technologies into daily business processes.

Focus:
- Manage product development and marketing strategy for consumer electronics, with a focus on IoT and smart home devices.
- Direct product lifecycle from end to end, including developing value propositions and business cases for new products.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and R&D teams to support product branding, roadmaps, customer-facing material, and PR strategies.
- Support cross-industry partnerships with major players in automotive, construction, electronics, and more to broaden market penetration.
- Report to executive leadership on competitor products, the technology landscape, regional trends, compliance laws, and other relevant market data.
- Produce data sheets, product feature marketing materials, technical user manuals, product specifications, and other related documentation.
- Attend top industry conferences and trade shows targeting IoT, wireless, and consumer electronics.
Skills:
- 6+ years of technical product management experience, with recent experience managing consumer electronics.
- Technical understanding of wireless and IoT devices, especially for smart home applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with all facets of technical product management, including:
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Cross-functional team leadership
- Competitive analysis
- Go-to-market strategy
- Technical proficiency with wireless technologies and software platforms (IoT, mobile devices, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.)
- Strong technical presentation and communication skills; comfortable talking to engineering teams, PMs, vendors, and C-level and director-level executives.
