The Senior Vice President of Sales will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving ambitious growth objectives. Focus:
• Lead and manage the company’s sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and aligning sales objectives with business goals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share and meet ambitious sales targets across multiple channels, including big box retailers, e-commerce platforms, MRO, and more.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Oversee the planning and forecasting of annual sales budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets and revenue projections.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and ensure that targets are met, while addressing any challenges proactively.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, developing talent and ensuring team members are aligned with company goals.
• Act as a key spokesperson for the company, representing its values and promoting its products to key external stakeholders.
• Ensure operational efficiency by addressing sales-related challenges and driving improvements in processes.
• Lead the overall sales strategy and operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, focusing on talent development and cross-selling opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events and public forums, enhancing its brand presence and market position.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Skill Set:
• 10+ years of experience in sales within the lighting industry, particularly in roles involving extensive client interaction and territory management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and managing complex customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of LED technology and the lighting market.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the territory.
