Our client is an investment management firm who supports high-dollar investors in risk management, financial research, valuation, guidance, and more. They are hiring a Vice President of Operations and Technology to lead the development of the operations and technology processes of the company to ensure success and meet company goals.
The Vice President of Operations and Technology is responsible for overseeing operations and will provide solutions to improve the technological resources of the firm. They will lead the team with an entrepreneurial spirit and positive mindset, while continuing to provide improvement initiatives to better the company.

Focus:
Build and implement plans for operations and technology – including overall strategy and vision – that best align with organizational goals. Take an active role in leading the day-to-day operations of managers and teams, identifying opportunities for improvement. Collaborate cross functionally with multiple departments to ensure company success. Lead development of SOPs, metrics, and processes for workflow improvements, risk assessment, and business process improvements. Define scope and goals, set and track milestones, assign team priorities, and report regularly to executive management. Provide strong top-down support, including teambuilding, individual development, relationship building, team cohesion, and leadership organization.
Skill Set:
5+ years of technology and operations leadership experience required. Must have direct experience with RIA firms. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field. Master’s a plus. Strong background in operations strategy planning and implementation. Must have proven leadership skills and problem-solving skills including the ability to influence, motivate, and direct others. Superb time management skills and be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, notably in Excel. Experience in documenting business processes, data, and reporting tools such as Envestnet Tamarac system. Must have outstanding organizational, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively communicate to executive leadership, reports, clients, and stakeholders.
