They are hiring an Urban Planning Technician to analyze and interpret survey data accurately and efficiently. As an Urban Planning Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing cutting-edge solutions and personalized services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Focus:
Conduct various types of geographical surveys, including but not limited to Boundary, Topographic, and Construction Stakeouts, while ensuring compliance with relevant principles, regulations, techniques, and procedures. Manage field staff effectively, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality and timely completion of survey projects.
Utilize advanced field instrumentation, including GPS and robotic total stations, to collect precise survey data. Utilize technical software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D to process and analyze survey data, generating accurate and detailed reports and deliverables. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, working efficiently to coordinate fieldwork, provide training to survey personnel, and ensure seamless project execution. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate survey findings, project updates, and recommendations to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office products to create comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation related to survey projects.
Skill Set:
Possess a valid license as a Land Surveyor. Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant land survey experience, including experience in managing field staff. Thorough understanding of surveying principles, regulations, techniques, and procedures.
Proven ability to perform Boundary and Topographic surveys, Subdivision Plats, and Construction Stakeouts accurately and efficiently. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting field instrumentation, including GPS and robotic total stations. Strong knowledge of technical software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D, for data processing and analysis. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office products to create comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team, providing training to survey personnel, and coordinating fieldwork effectively.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
