We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing firm to seek a Trade Compliance Manager. This role involves managing global trade compliance activities, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations. The candidate will oversee trade screening software, liaise with transportation service providers, and ensure compliance in all aspects of global distribution. The role demands a strategic approach to trade compliance, encompassing export license applications, classification validations, and harmonization of tariff classifications.
The Trade Compliance Manager will serve as a subject matter expert, integrating with various departments like procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to maintain compliance. The role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the company’s global trade processes and contributing to the smooth execution of international transactions.

Manage global trade compliance software and monitor international transactions. Collaborate with logistics providers to address compliance issues. Conduct audits and maintain proper documentation for trade processes. Perform compliance screenings for distributors and resellers globally. Lead export license applications and manage regulatory reporting. Act as a key contact for import/export compliance, utilizing in-country resources. Oversee product classification, tariff, and origin data management. Develop and provide compliance training and stay updated with relevant regulations.
5-7 years of experience in international trade compliance. A brokerage license or relevant experience is a plus. Experience in managing cross-cultural communications and working across multiple time zones. Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with encryption technology controls. Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively. Self-motivated with a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
