They are hiring a Telecom Project Manager to oversee Comcast customer projects related to fiber and OSP.
The Telecom Project Manager will leverage their Comcast expertise to be able to take telecom projects all the way through the full life cycle while working with multiple stakeholders to ensure on track and on budget delivery. This role is client facing that requires strong relationship building and leadership skills.

Focus:
• Oversee end-to-end telecom projects, with a focus on Comcast, Fiber, and OSP design and deployment.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for the team and Comcast clients on all Fiber/OSP projects.
• Manage the approved plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within budget, time, and quality parameters.
• Identify and recommend the internal and/or external resources to reach the project goals and manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects.
• Review design options and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and/or availability of materials. Document accordingly.
• Provide project leadership in the execution of projects; direct the project and engineering teams and communicate requirements to both internal and external organizations.
• Develop project budget forecast to proactively manage needs based on business requirements.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Manage budget and schedule changes.
• Connect and build strong lasting bonds with new and existing clients.
Skill Set
• 5+ years’ experience in telecom project management working with Comcast.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related discipline. PMP certification a plus.
• Firm background overseeing fiber networks for Comcast and OSP projects from award to closeout.
• Hands-on experience with Comcast systems, procedures, and processing.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the creation, planning, integration, execution and/or detailed-oriented project management of telecommunications and network technology.
• Proficiency in GIS-based mapping systems; Google Earth, and ESRI.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise throughout the project life cycle and communicate those changes to clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable delivering presentations to C-level executives and high-profile clients.
