Our client is a leading supplier of computing products and solutions for HPC, telecom, networking, deep learning, and AV verticals. They serve Fortune 100 companies through their system integration, distribution, and manufacturing services. They are hiring a Technical Support Specialist to help troubleshoot and optimize hardware and software systems.
The Technical Support Specialist will help diagnose and resolve technical issues surrounding computing equipment and software solutions. They will assist customers looking to adopt storage clusters, workstations, and more in their application and use. In addition to technical support, they will help drive improvements within product development and sales operations.

Provide technical support and assistance to customers and internal users. Troubleshoot and support systems and clusters for storage and computing. Document solutions and bring them to QA for improvement thought leadership. Follow up on finished solutions for quality control. Communicate technical solutions with non-technical customers and some technical vendors. Interface with customers regarding product changes, inquiries, demonstrations, and QC. Maintain high customer satisfaction by assisting with hardware and software technical support.
2+ years of experience in hardware and software IT support roles. Background in sales support in hardware or applicable product offering preferred. Knowledge of networking protocols including:
VPN Routing TCP/IP Strong technical proficiency in Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows operating systems. Experience with MS applications and ticketing systems such as Jira Service Desk. Able to interpret problems and present clear, actionable solutions to people across a range of departments. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or electrical engineering a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate with internal teams as well as customers to resolve ticket issues and technical issues.
