They are currently seeking a highly competent and experienced Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Tax Manager, your role will revolve around overseeing and managing the tax function within their esteemed firm. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, providing strategic tax planning guidance, and contributing to the overall success of their clients and the firm.

Focus:

• Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax returns for clients in a wide variety of industries.
• Interact closely with clients to provide innovative tax planning and compliance expertise.
• Oversee tax planning and research tax issues to direct accounts on the optimal solutions.
• Lead, train, and monitor a team of Tax Accountants throughout tax preparation.
• Maintain active communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
• Prepare financial reports, financial statements, and financial analysis to present to clients.
• Stay current on and ensure adherence to best practices, government regulations, risk management, and proper tax procedures.
• Maintain excellent documentation for all activities.

Skill Set:

• Active and valid CPA license.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, having completed coursework in tax and accounting up to the intermediate level.
• 5+ years of experience in preparing various types of tax returns, acquired either in a public CPA firm or private company setting.
• 2+ years of experience in reviewing various types of tax returns and compiled financial statements, gained in a public CPA firm or private company.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong abilities in time management, organization, and presentation.
• Preferred knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software, or a strong understanding of its fundamental functionalities.
