About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with a rapidly growing life sciences company that is redefining biospecimen sourcing and innovation. They specialize in delivering high-quality human serum and plasma materials—including custom-depleted, negative matrix, and disease-state products—to top players across the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) and pharmaceutical landscapes. With clients spanning leading global pharma and biotech firms, this company is building the next frontier in R&D-enabling biological materials. As part of their ambitious growth strategy, they are looking for a seasoned, high-impact Sales Manager who knows how to drive strategic relationships and close sophisticated biospecimen deals with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IVD and biopharma clients, overseeing the full sales cycle for specialized biospecimen materials.
• Focus on custom, depleted, processed serum/plasma products and negative matrices tailored to client-specific research or diagnostic needs.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with biopharma and diagnostics leaders, including target accounts such as Pfizer, GSK, Moderna, Sanofi, Novartis, Siemens, and Thermo Fisher.
• Engage both customer-side stakeholders (scientific procurement, R&D, sourcing managers) and supplier-side partners (blood banks, collection sites) to align on custom product solutions.
• Partner closely with R&D teams to guide new product development initiatives, translating complex customer needs into viable technical requirements.
• Maintain deep familiarity with the biospecimen ecosystem and regulatory landscape, anticipating market shifts and customer challenges.
• Leverage CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) to track activities, forecast pipeline, and report performance metrics.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of sales experience in human serum, plasma, or immunoglobulin products for the IVD or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Proven success selling complex biospecimen products including depleted serum/plasma, negative matrices, and disease-state samples.
• Existing relationships with major diagnostics and pharmaceutical accounts strongly preferred.
• Comfortable operating in a high-autonomy, high-impact role with broad client exposure.
• A science background is not required, but the ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate with R&D teams is essential.
• Experience with assay kits, panels, or lysates a plus.
• CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is advantageous but not required.
