Our client is a top provider of wireless engineering services, offering 5G, fiber, DAS, connectivity, and telecom solutions. They are hiring a Staff Land Surveyor to support their wireless infrastructure projects and ensure the accurate collection of land survey data for project success.
The Staff Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting topographical data, and supporting engineering projects under the guidance of senior staff, including field surveys, equipment maintenance, and ensuring project compliance.

Focus:
Gather topographical data for wireless infrastructure engineering projects. Conduct field surveys and collaborate with licensed Land Surveyors to collect land survey information. Perform initial site surveys to evaluate conditions. Stake construction sites for wireless infrastructure projects. Support the maintenance and calibration of survey equipment and vehicles. Analyze job specifications and strategize fieldwork within project scope and budget. Process survey data, generating base maps and digital terrain models. Operate survey equipment independently, including robotic total station survey equipment and GPS devices. Integrate alignments, control points, and CADD software data for field layout. Research public records related to land surveys. Calculate boundary closures and make traverse adjustments to ensure precise survey results.
Skill Set
Associate degree in surveying required, Bachelor of Science (preferred) or related field. 2-4 years of surveying and field inspection experience. Surveyor In Training (SIT) license preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CADD software. Excellent time management, communication, and mechanical skills. Technical literature interpretation and engineering plan understanding. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
