To support their continued growth, they are seeking a Sr. Unified Communications Engineer to join their highly motivated and talented engineering team.

The Sr. Unified Communications Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing, executing, and providing ongoing assistance for collaborative unified communications initiatives. This individual will support enterprise-level network infrastructure, security, wireless technologies, and data centers.

Focus:

Work with a team of engineers to architect, design, prototype, and implement software solutions to support Unified Communications products and solutions. Support day-to-day operations and resolve any issues with software; be available for on-call duties on a rotating basis as needed. Collaborate with Product Management and Design teams to develop intelligent features and scalable applications. Ensure proper maintenance of existing products and user features, troubleshooting complex technical issues as they arise. Ensure unified communications devices are configured and maintained in accordance with appropriate standards, best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements. Understand client’s infrastructures/needs and provide expertise and consulting on unified communications solutions. Conduct research on UC products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the unified communications industry.

Skill Set:

3+ years of high-level unified communications engineering experience. Advanced proficiency in designing, deploying, and maintaining Cisco Collaboration technologies required. CCNP required; CCIE certification a strong plus. Substantial expertise in implementing and supporting Cisco Systems. Highly skilled in software troubleshooting and optimization. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences. Travel to project sites as needed; ability to meet flexible work hours to support project delivery.
