They are actively seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and oversight of advanced electro-mechanical instruments tailored for the industrial sector.

The Sr. Electrical Design Engineer will take charge of designing advanced analog/digital electronics, crafting interface electronics for a diverse range of intelligent devices, and collaborating intensively with a multi-disciplinary engineering team. The role necessitates close coordination with all engineering segments and leadership to ensure sustained product reliability.

Focus:

• Spearhead the design and development of advanced analog/digital electronics, leveraging components like operational amplifiers, FETs, and BJTs.
• Engineer interface electronics, catering to a variety of devices such as intelligent motors, sensors, optical detectors, and communication modules, including USB and Ethernet.
• Specialize in creating interface circuits, particularly for stepper and BLDC motor control.
• Engage in hands-on collaboration with a multi-disciplinary engineering team, emphasizing the design, testing, and validation of electro-mechanical and electro-optical instrumentation.
• Dive deep into mixed signal designs, analog designs, and switch mode power systems.
• Exhibit expertise in the creation of PCB layouts, with each system consisting of multiple printed circuit boards.
• Display proficiency in circuit design, ensuring the overall system’s integrity and functionality.
• Prioritize the design of high-margin products, while also addressing the need for legacy support and potential redesigns of older products.

Skill Set:

• Possess a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in designing and testing complex analog/digital circuits.
• Display expertise in high-frequency switching, power supply topology, control architecture, and analog systems.
• Proficient in circuit layout, magnetics design, EMC compliance, feedback control, and hands-on PCB layout.
• Familiar with electrical design software tools and have experience with microcontrollers.
• Possess an understanding of instrumentation and sensitive electronics.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with a proven track record of success in both individual and collaborative environments.
• Ideally possess a strong foundation in both digital and analog design principles.
• An understanding of industrial design principles, with a focus on R&D.
