Our client is a top provider of wireless and communication structure, globally. Their robust service offerings include 5G, Wi-Fi, fiber, DAS, public safety, and telecom solutions. Due to increased demand, they are looking to hire a Contract Sr. Accountant to lead accounting operations and financial reporting within the company.
The Sr. Accountant will manage assigned general ledger tasks to support month-end close, AR/AP, budget setting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Working alongside financial leadership, this role will support tax, audits, risk management, and compliance. This is a temporary contract role.

Focus:
• Support preparation of financial reporting and planning activities, including forecasting, analysis, budget setting, and reconciliation.
• Complete audits, identifying and correcting outstanding errors, compliance issues, and inefficiencies.
• Support account receivables and revenue activities.
• Preform risk management procedures and present findings to management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance related to internal controls.
• Manage monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring all major financial deadlines are met.
• Prepare and implement tax strategies and best practices within the department working closely with upper management.
• Present financial statements, covenant compliance, and variance analysis.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting requirements and research initiatives, as needed.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP best practices, government regulations, and proper tax procedure nationally.
Skill Set:
• 3-5+ years of financial management, accounting, and/or audit experience in a related role.
• Background in public accounting and deferred revenue, a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA certification or ability to obtain, required.
• Excellent foundational understanding of GAAP and best practice accounting policies.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, ERPs, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and other accounting software.
• Proven ability to prepare and manage financial statements and ensure deadlines.
• Experience establishing and improving internal controls.
• Firm understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and business-case reporting.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skill and attention to detail.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbally).
• Background within manufacturing, pharma, engineering, construction, or project related markets.
