Focus:
• Perform imaging duties and assist in procedures while ensuring alignment with departmental quality benchmarks and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to carry out image-guided diagnostic and treatment protocols in a secure and efficient manner.
• Ensure proper use and basic maintenance of diagnostic tools and technologies, supporting accurate outcomes and patient well-being.
• Maintain and document proper patient history, ensuring relevant information is communicated for accurate diagnostics.
• Ensure adherence to established privacy protocols and maintain secure handling of patient-related documentation and activities.
• Monitor inventory and communicate equipment or supply needs to leadership for timely resolution.
• Support and help train students and new team members through mentorship and demonstration of best practices.
• Adhere to all departmental policies and compliance standards, including accurate documentation, safe handling of materials, and adherence to procedural protocols.
• Actively participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
Skill Set:
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Illinois licensure through IEMA and ARRT certification or eligibility required.
• Technical proficiency in image acquisition and utilization of equipment in a procedural or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
• Capable of full physical activity including lifting and positioning patients.
