They deliver pioneering IoT Solutions in agriculture, alternative energy, oil and gas, and transportation verticals. They are currently looking to hire a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development and integration of pivotal components for their product support software applications.

The Software Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in steering the team towards the successful development of backend support applications and customer-centric product update and configuration software. The individual will be adept at supporting existing applications and possess the foresight to architect novel solutions that align with the company’s vision.

Focus:

Lead the planning, design, and development of software, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software delivery, from conceptualization to deployment. Provide architectural insights to ensure the seamless integration of embedded software, mobile applications, and backend support software.

Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Engage with stakeholders, gathering feedback, and implementing necessary changes to optimize software performance. Drive innovation by staying updated with the latest software development trends and technologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to challenge the status quo and innovate.

Skill Set:

8+ years of experience in a Software Engineering/Management role. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful service design, and other relevant software development tools. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver results in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

A proactive approach, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation. Experience in agile methodologies and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle. Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth. Ambitious work ethic with the desire to get others engaged in the larger picture goal.
