Senior Product Manager – SaaS

Our client manufactures and delivers connected solutions aimed to increase safety on the job. Over the past 30 years, they have made it their mission to create predictive technologies that allow for the safest work environment for industrial workers. They are looking to hire a Senior Product Manager oversee software product development throughout the entirety of the product lifecycle.

The Senior Product Manager will strategize new product features and support product lifecycles to drive product development from design to production ensuring ROI of initiatives. They will be responsible for driving the product development from design to production based on market gaps and trends.

Focus:

• Lead SaaS platform product development strategy from end to end, including developing value propositions and business cases for new features.
• Be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements, to design, to development, to testing, and implementation.
• Interface with high-level partners and internal teams to gather business requirements for software. Support rollout process and ensure timeline is kept.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to set schedules for production, measure product line success to verify ROI is realized, and oversee product lifecycle.
• Give strategic direction to sales and marketing on branding, product positioning, pricing, competitors, and market trends.
• Identify market trends, analyze data, and gather a deep understanding of consumer behavior to develop customer-centric solutions.
• Understand the company’s strategic and competitive position to distill and contribute to product strategy that informs product development.

Skill Set:

• 4-6 years of experience in SaaS product management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA a plus.
• Experience in full lifecycle development; requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Technical awareness of industrial safety or gas detection products preferred.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management software and common CRMs.
• Project management skills with the ability to develop research, track ROI, strategize for market needs, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable delivering presentations to C-level executives and high-profile commercial clients.
• Superior professional presence and business acumen; excellent skills in communication, technical presentations, and contract negotiation.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 30%.
