Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Estates and Trusts Attorney to join our client’s reputable legal team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with comprehensive knowledge and experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, wealth preservation strategies, and business succession planning.

This is NOT a remote position. Candidate must be willing and able to work onsite within one of the following locations: Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, or Tampa*

Focus:

• Provide expert legal counsel on all matters related to estate planning, including drafting and implementing wills, trusts, and other essential documents.
• Handle the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring proper distribution of assets and compliance with legal requirements.
• Develop and implement wealth preservation strategies for high-net-worth clients, offering guidance on tax implications and asset protection.
• Work with business owners on succession planning, helping them create legal structures to ensure smooth transitions of ownership and management.
• Collaborate with clients, financial planners, and other professionals to create tailored estate and trust plans that meet individual client needs.

Skill Set:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law, with a primary focus on estate and trust planning, administration, and business succession.
• Extensive experience working with business owners and high-net-worth individuals on complex estate planning strategies.
• Previous experience in a large law firm environment is strongly preferred.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier, ABA-accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing as a member of the Florida Bar.
• Excellent client management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team of professionals.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
