Our client provides a range of health solutions for rural communities. With new projects on the horizon, they are hiring a Senior Contract Networking Specialist to help analyze market needs, establish business relationships with key contacts at hospitals and health systems, and close contracts with IPAs and PHOs.

Focus:
• Lead the contracting of hospitals and health systems in existing and new markets.
• Manage the negotiations and contracting of facilities, providers, and vendors to provide an array of services for healthcare plan members.
• Develop and maintain healthcare provider network, educating providers on program standards and requirements.
• Assess provider and vendor credentials to ensure they meet CMS and other agency criteria.
• Perform provider education to provide an overview and information regarding functions and roles in caring for its membership.
• Continually analyze provider network to maintain network adequacy.
• Understand, present, and discuss financial analysis and impact of contracts and payment agreements with providers and staff.
• Create and cultivate a strong, positive working culture, empowering team to ideate and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with implementations, projects, and other corporate assignments as needed.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in managed care network development/network services.
• Strong background in the healthcare industry.
• Demonstrated experience with network development/network services and post-acute facilities.
• Knowledgeable in Medicare Advantage plans, a plus.
• In-depth understanding of provider payment methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop impactful business relationships.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work with the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
• Ability to supervise and lead others, think analytically, and make independent decisions.
