We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Dispute Attorney to join our client’s Construction Litigation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated construction-related disputes for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will bring extensive litigation experience, particularly in construction law, to contribute to the firm’s continued success in this challenging and dynamic field.

*** This is NOT a remote position. Candidate must be willing and able to work onsite within one of the following locations: Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tampa

Focus:

Lead and manage complex construction litigation cases from inception through resolution

Develop and implement effective litigation strategies for construction-related disputes

Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

Conduct and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses

Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes

Provide legal counsel to clients on construction contract issues and risk management

Collaborate with other attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient case management

Stay current with developments in construction law and litigation practices

Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the growth of the practice group

Participate in business development activities and maintain client relationships.

Skill Set:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Active membership in good standing with the state bar. Board certification in Construction Law is preferred

Minimum of six years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on complex construction cases

Extensive knowledge of construction law, contract law, and related regulations

Proven track record of successfully handling large-scale construction disputes

Experience with various forms of alternative dispute resolution in construction cases

Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Outstanding project management and organizational skills

Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Strong client service orientation and interpersonal skills

Business development experience and a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
