Our client is a top home builder and manufacturer within their industry. They design a wide range of building products and type of homes for families to enjoy. With nearly 6 decades of industry experience, they have become a quality, manufacturing leader nationwide. Due to rapid organic and inorganic growth, they are looking to hire an SEC Reporting Manager to perform detailed financial and variance analysis, ensuring alignment to SEC and industry standards.
The SEC Reporting Manager will prepare and present financial and accounting statements and analysis, as well as continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires an analytical mind-set with skills in data reporting, visualizations, and applicable business interpretations.

Focus:
• Develop financial reporting packages for company-wide use, including consolidation of corporate and segment accounting.
• Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, and coordinate the filing process with external auditors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements, footnotes, and other disclosures.
• Assist in the preparation of other financial reports and analyses, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and board of director materials.
• Conduct research and provide guidance on technical accounting issues related to SEC reporting and GAAP.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and emerging trends in SEC reporting and financial disclosure.
• Assist with the preparation of internal management reports and presentations, including financial and operational analyses, as needed.
• Manage equity awards and stock compensation plans, including ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations and coordinating with external vendors as needed.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required. Will accept certification in progress.
• 5+ years of financial analysis and reporting experience and/or 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong background with MS Excel pivot tables, graphs, and advanced functions.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop meaningful insights and conclusions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and GAAP, including recent updates and changes.
• Analytical mindset with experience developing reports from large data sets.
• Strong communication skills at every professional level. Effectively share vision and direction for technical aspects to both technical and non-technical audiences.
