The SAP Analyst – Materials Management will be at the forefront of optimizing the organization’s primary enterprise resource planning system. They’ll interface with multi-functional teams, ensuring seamless and efficient operations of the system, and its related applications. This role demands a comprehensive grasp of ERP modules and the ability to address evolving business needs.

Focus:
Lead the operations and maintenance of the organization’s ERP system, emphasizing materials management, inventory, and procurement. Work closely with technical teams to ensure secure, reliable operations and application architecture consistency. Oversee projects related to ERP enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs. Engage in hands-on collaboration with other departments, ensuring streamlined operations and efficient data management. Monitor critical ERP processes and services, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Implement and maintain best practices for ERP system configurations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and operational needs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to materials management, identifying areas for potential system enhancements and optimizations. Facilitate training sessions and knowledge transfer, ensuring the team is abreast of the latest ERP functionalities and best practices.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in ERP modules related to materials management. Familiarity with leading eProcurement tools and core ERP systems. Proficiency in utilizing tools such as SAP Fiori, SAP Ariba, and Open Text Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) for streamlining processes. Demonstrated ability to manage complex ERP projects from conception to completion.
Demonstrated ability to stay updated with emerging trends in ERP systems and materials management, proactively integrating new methodologies. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication abilities, with a knack for translating complex technical jargon into comprehensible terms.
