Our client delivers essential products to manufacturers, large multi-unit accounts, warehouses, and distribution centers, is on the hunt for an energetic and motivated Sales Rep. Operating at the cutting edge of the industry, they provide an extensive array of premium products such as lighting solutions and energy efficiency products. The Sales Rep will focus on hunting and closing new business opportunities, leveraging their excellent execution capabilities.

Focus:
Strategically work with large, industrial customers, hunting for accounts through prospecting and networking initiatives. Generate and close deals, managing contract negotiations with key decision-making executives of target customers. Conduct initial contact audits to qualify leads and collaborate with the audit team on subsequent evaluations. Maintain critical driver standards and meet or exceed sales quotas for revenue-generating bookings. Collaborate with project management and operations teams as necessary.
Maintain 100% compliance with Salesforce, ensuring all leads, appointments, and meaningful touches are properly logged. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for the leadership team. Stay updated on emerging technologies and market trends.
Skill Set
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed quotas in the $MM range. Proven ability to close projects and deliver sales of at least $2M. Experience with lighting or the energy industry is a plus. Preferably has a pipeline in the Chicago market.
Familiarity with common CRM and sales software. Superior professional presence and business acumen; excellent skills in communication, technical presentations, and contract negotiation. Persistence, competitiveness, and a true “hunter” sales mentality.
