Our client is a successful liaison for lighting producers and those looking to purchase superior lighting products. They are looking for a Roadway Lighting Sales professional to drive sales in the lighting solutions sector across a specified regional territory.
This role involves cultivating relationships with key stakeholders in municipalities, utilities, and departments of transportation. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sales strategies, providing exceptional customer service, and representing the brand with professionalism and expertise.

Develop and maintain relationships with municipal, utility, and DOT clients to generate sales in designated territories. Assist in creating lighting layouts, performing photometric calculations, and preparing compliance documentation for clients. Actively participate in client meetings and manufacturer conference calls. Provide prompt responses to client communications and manage requests efficiently. Adhere to deadlines for proposals and project deliverables. Engage in continuous education and industry events, occasionally outside regular work hours. Travel within the designated territory and occasionally out-of-state for conferences and manufacturer visits. Represent the company and its products with professionalism and market expertise.
3+ years of experience in the lighting or electrical industry, with roadway/municipality/DOT experience highly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Independent, self-motivated, and process-oriented professional. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team. Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong time management skills with effective problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with industry-specific software like Bluebeam, AGI32, and AutoCAD. Must possess reliable transportation for regional travel. Compensation Range: $75K-$100K
