Our client is a local medical laboratory practice that combines cutting-edge technology and medical expertise to provide accurate and efficient medical services to their patients. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team and contribute to their commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
As a Registered Nurse within our client’s medical laboratory practice, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive patient care and supporting the healthcare team. You will be responsible for patient triage and intake, analyzing and documenting laboratory results, administering various patient tests, managing high-intensity light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions, performing IV and phlebotomy procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Focus:
Perform thorough initial patient assessments, including vital sign measurements and medication/supplement reconciliation. Prepare patient charts and document essential information for physician review. Analyze and accurately document laboratory results, applying precision medicine principles under the guidance of Dr. Tanio. Administer and interpret a variety of patient tests, such as Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Cognitive Testing, Visual Contrast Sensitivity (VCS), and Inbody composition analysis. Maintain precise and organized records of test results in electronic health records. Safely administer high-intensity light therapy sessions as prescribed by the healthcare team. Monitor patient well-being during light therapy to ensure safety and adherence to protocols. Assist in preparing patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions. Monitor patients during HBOT sessions, ensuring safety and addressing any adverse reactions promptly. Supervise IV therapy protocols and patients. Conduct IV insertion and maintenance procedures for medication, fluid, and nutrient administration. Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples for diagnostic purposes. Maintain accurate and current patient records, encompassing assessment findings, test results, treatment plans, and progress notes. Generate comprehensive reports to support the healthcare team in treatment planning.
Skill Set:
Possession of a valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Proven experience in both traditional and functional medicine settings, with a profound understanding of precision medicine principles. Proficiency in administering and elucidating various patient tests, including MoCA, Cognitive Testing, VCS, and Inbody composition analysis. Proficient in IV insertion, maintenance, and phlebotomy procedures. Familiarity with high-intensity light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy protocols. Excellent communication skills, encompassing verbal and written abilities, for effective patient engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational competence, and aptitude for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records. Demonstrated ability to excel within a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
