Regional Sales Account Manager – Packaging & Industrial Solutions
Location: Mid-Atlantic, USA
Our client, a distinguished leader in the production of cutting-edge plastic and organic packaging solutions, is currently seeking an adept Regional Sales Account Manager – Packaging & Industrial Solutions to fortify their commitment to excellence in product sales and business development.
As a Regional Sales Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing long-term relationships with diverse clientele. This position combines strategic sales initiatives with a deep understanding of products and market trends, ensuring both customer satisfaction and business growth.
Note: This role is hybrid with 50% travel.

Focus:
• Drive sales initiatives to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, enhancing overall company profitability.
• Cultivate new client relationships while maintaining and expanding existing accounts within the assigned territory.
• Travel to regularly visit and engage with customers, offering tailored product presentations and training sessions.
• Develop and implement key account plans for top clients, aligning sales strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Engage in disciplined account management, including inventory and stock management, accounts receivable monitoring, and pipeline management.
• Participate in sales team meetings, contributing to pipeline reviews and strategic discussions.
• Secure long-term contracts and supply agreements, strengthening business relationships and ensuring customer loyalty.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the plastic container, rigid packaging, or related industry.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to make decisions that positively impact profitability and align with strategic goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex customer situations.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a track record of success and an energetic approach to sales.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Must be able to travel up to 50%.
