Focus:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective procurement strategies for lighting products used in various industry verticals. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring timely delivery of materials. Utilize your expertise in electronics, mechanical systems, electrical components, and winching systems to make informed purchasing decisions.

Leverage your familiarity with power supplies, semiconductors, pumps, electrical motors, circuit breakers, switch gear, winches, and more to optimize procurement processes. Actively engage in NetSuite or other ERP/MRP systems to manage procurement activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms to ensure favorable pricing and contractual agreements. Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to address supply chain challenges and develop solutions that enhance efficiency and quality. Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, utilizing quality management standards like ISO to enhance overall performance.

Skill Set

High School diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or related fields OR an Associate degree with at least 2 years of experience in procurement or related areas. Prior NetSuite experience and a proven track record of working within an ERP or MRP environment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment, effectively solving problems through interdepartmental cooperation.

Familiarity with quality management leadership teams such as ISO, along with the ability to leverage continuous improvement practices to drive operational efficiency. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective interaction with suppliers and internal stakeholders. A forward-thinking mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt within a rapidly evolving industry. Ambition to grow and take on additional responsibilities, eventually leading and managing direct reports as needed.
