They are looking to hire a Principal Software Architect with a background in Angular and JavaScript to lead a team of engineers in maintaining and developing software solutions for web applications.

The Principal Software Architect will be responsible for be responsible for overseeing the team in design and technical directions of software development. This role will work closely with staff engineers to develop and implement software features to be used throughout various products and web applications.

Focus:

Lead a team of engineers to architect, design, prototype, and implement software solutions to support web applications. Own software development services from design, unit testing, continuous integration, monitoring, and support. Collaborate/communicate efforts and align development efforts with planned roadmaps. Collaborate with Product Management and Design teams to develop intelligent features and scalable applications.

Support day-to-day operations and resolve any issues with software. Ensure proper maintenance of existing products and user features, troubleshooting complex technical issues as they arise. Train new and existing employees on best practices, SCRUM methodologies, and new development approaches. Mentor and manage engineers to become proficient developers using best practices-based software development approaches and processes. Determine, develop, and maintain guidelines and coding standard documentation.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of software engineering and full stack development experience. Must have background in security and technical leadership experience.

Technical fluency in Typescript, JavaScript (React), HTML, and CSS required. Experience with NoSQL and relational databases development. Strong understanding and experience with public/private cloud (AWS, Azure, Google), DevOps, and Docker/K8s. Experience with CI/CD methodologies, workflows, pipelines, and configuration management. Prior success developing front-end software design using C# and .NET framework.

Highly skilled in software troubleshooting and optimization. Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (SCRUM).
