Location: Remote, based in Virginia
An industry-leading innovator at the intersection of national security and digital infrastructure is searching for a skilled Program Manager to oversee strategic execution across a wide portfolio of defense and intelligence programs. This is a high-impact, fully remote position that supports mission-critical initiatives, ensuring compliance, coordination, and excellence in cybersecurity and IT service delivery for government and private sector clients.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment and has a deep understanding of managing cross-functional projects in the defense and intelligence space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development and implementation of project management best practices and delivery frameworks for federal cybersecurity programs.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines and quality expectations are met.
• Align projects with organizational goals and regulatory requirements specific to the defense and intelligence sectors.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments for multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, government agencies, and contractors to ensure mission alignment.
• Drive performance reporting, strategic insights, and delivery optimization to executive leadership.
• Establish secure documentation protocols to comply with federal and cybersecurity standards.
• Identify and mitigate project roadblocks, ensuring seamless integration across functions.
• Champion continuous improvement by leading initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and project effectiveness.
Qualifications:
• Proven success in managing large-scale projects in highly regulated or secure environments, preferably with defense or intelligence applications.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and IT standards within federal government frameworks.
• Strong leadership presence, with the ability to guide teams and influence across complex stakeholder groups.
• Strategic thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset in fast-moving, high-stakes settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk management and compliance strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills with experience engaging government and executive-level partners.
• Ability to travel occasionally for in-person collaboration, vendor engagement, or site visits.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain or maintain security clearance as required.
