The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in our client’s medical laboratory practice, delivering advanced patient care while working in conjunction with precision medicine principles. This role entails independent patient evaluations and diagnoses, collaboration with healthcare professionals, advanced practice procedures, patient education, and thorough documentation.

Focus:

Conduct independent patient evaluations, skillfully diagnosing medical conditions and seamlessly integrating precision medicine principles. Craft personalized treatment strategies considering each patient’s unique requirements, balancing conventional and functional medicine practices. Engage in close collaboration with the Doctor to discuss patient cases, seek guidance, and collectively refine treatment plans. Work harmoniously with healthcare professionals to guarantee well-coordinated patient care. Actively contribute insights and nurse practitioner expertise during interdisciplinary rounds and case discussions. Perform advanced procedures within the scope of nurse practitioner practice, including prescribing medications, interpreting complex lab results, and ordering diagnostic tests. Administer specialized therapies such as high-intensity light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy based on healthcare team prescriptions. Educate patients about precision medicine concepts, various treatment avenues, and lifestyle modifications to enhance overall health outcomes. Clearly elucidate test results, treatment blueprints, and potential benefits and risks to patients. Maintain meticulous patient documentation including comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, treatment courses, and progress notes in alignment with established professional standards. Develop comprehensive reports and summaries for the healthcare team, streamlining collaborative decision-making processes.

Skill Set:

Possess a valid and active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license within the state of practice. Hold board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a pertinent specialty (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, etc.). Exhibit adeptness in conducting independent patient assessments, diagnosing diverse medical conditions, and formulating effective treatment strategies. Demonstrate the capability to manage complex cases and patients with multiple chronic illnesses. Showcase a profound understanding of precision medicine principles and their seamless integration into patient-centered care. Exhibit autonomous and collaborative skills, showcasing impeccable clinical judgment and decision-making abilities. Demonstrate expertise in medication prescription, diagnostic test interpretation, and the performance of advanced procedures within the nurse practitioner’s defined scope.
