Our client is a leader in the fiber and hosted voice services industry with over 15 years of history providing first-rate internet services. They are looking to hire a Network Operations Center Tech to monitor and maintain their network, server, and telecom operations.
The Network Operations Center Tech will be responsible for diagnosing and addressing system issues. Covering the 3rd shift, this individual will support both internal and external teams as it pertains to the day-to-day operations of the NOC.

Focus:
• Support NOC operations, including regular maintenance, upgrades, analytics, incident response, security, compliance, and performance improvement.
• Configure, troubleshoot, implement, and maintain network using supplied tools and in-depth impact analysis. Report data findings and incident resolution to internal teams.
• Support policies for incident management, disaster recovery, business continuity, information security, and recommend improvements.
• Make timely response to tickets, monitor SLAs, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Build relationships with vendor partners and strong escalation paths to reduce the resolution time for outages and incidents.
Skill Set:
• 2+ years of NOC support and telecom/wireless network technical experience.
• Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline a plus.
• Understanding of network infrastructure and NOC operations technology including fiber optic, microwave, cellular DAS, Ethernet, IP networks, and Wi-Fi.
• Hands-on experience working with IP networks, MPLS, VPNs, and network security.
• Strong communication, technical documentation (blueprints, drawings), and analysis skills.
• Ability to work 3rd shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am.
