They are looking for a skilled professional to take on the role of Network Deployment Engineer, responsible for seamlessly provisioning and configuring a substantial volume of networking devices within the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing broadband, voice, and IP networking solutions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the enhancement of automation processes for efficient network provisioning.

Focus:

Provision and configure a high volume of networking devices within a telecommunications company or related industry. Ensure seamless implementation of broadband, voice, and IP networking solutions for residential and business customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network provisioning issues promptly. Utilize TCP/IP principles, navigate network device GUIs, and maintain accurate documentation. Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, handling multiple concurrent projects efficiently.

Work closely with provisioning systems and platforms specific to the telecommunications industry. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of IP and Ethernet Transport protocols. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance automation and scripting for efficient network provisioning processes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and issues related to network provisioning.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of experience in a telecommunications company. Proven expertise in provisioning and configuring a significant volume of networking devices. Familiarity with TCP/IP principles, network device GUIs, and strong documentation skills. Holds a CCNA or equivalent certification. Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, excelling in a collaborative team environment. Exhibits effective task and priority management, meeting deadlines in a dynamic work setting. Proficient in MS Office platform, including Visio and Excel. Possesses certifications in telecommunications or related networking areas (e.g., Network+, A+, CCNA), with demonstrated experience in scripting, automation development, and working with provisioning systems specific to the telecommunications industry.
