.NET Developer

Our client is a leading developer of data-driven computer technology and software solutions, globally. They provide product management tools and software to businesses across the e-commerce market. They are hiring a .NET Developer to support the development and expansion of these software solutions.

The .NET Developer will join the Service Delivery team to support design, development, and maintenance of full stack C#/.NET applications. They will work closely with staff engineers to develop and implement coding for software features to be used throughout various products and applications.

Focus:

• Write code and support existing framework for software platforms, using SQL, C#, and .NET.
• Conduct code reviews and recommend changes for better performance and optimization.
• Support day-to-day operations and resolve any issues with software.
• Ensure proper maintenance of existing products and user features, assisting customer to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Participate in the technical design, integration, and development of highly complex, cross-functional, multi-platform, application systems ensuring on time delivery.
• Predict future failures and work proactively to mitigate them by advocating and implementing reliable design patterns.
• Provide regular reports to executive management on features, project tracking, and timeline.
• Work in an agile development environment.
• Determine, develop, and maintain guidelines and coding standard documentation.

Skill Set:

• 2+ years of coding experience using C# and .NET frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications such as C#, .NET 3.5, or MS Visual Studio, preferred.
• Highly skilled in software troubleshooting and optimization.
• Strong understanding of the software lifecycle – from design to scalability to maintenance.
• Programming experience within the e-commerce industry, a plus.
• Must be a quick learner and a self-starter, prepared to participate in a team environment and hungry to learn.
