Our client in the lighting industry is seeking a National Sales Manager for their Decorative Lighting showroom division. They deliver quality designs at accessible prices. As the National Sales Manager – Decorative Lighting, you will be at the forefront of driving the company’s growth and market prominence throughout the showroom channel.

Focus:
Developing visionary business strategies aligned with corporate goals. Leading the formulation of annual and long-term business plans encompassing market positioning, sales channels, and pricing strategies.
Implementing dynamic sales strategies to surpass ambitious sales targets. Crafting effective channel strategies and cultivating robust relationships with dealers, representatives, and customers. Establishing consistent and efficient sales management processes while setting clear performance expectations for the sales team. Overseeing marketing promotions and initiatives within the lighting showroom distribution channel. Providing strategic leadership for brand and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with the overarching corporate vision.
Driving product strategy, orchestrating new product development, and facilitating continuous enhancements. Creating and executing plans to amplify market share while upholding profitability standards. Incorporating customer insights, monitoring vital metrics, nurturing team growth, managing budgets, and representing the company at trade shows and industry events.
Skill Set
A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a Director or National Sales Manager role, specializing in lighting industry product sales through showroom channels. Proficiency in leading, managing, and motivating manufacturer representative organizations, coupled with the ability to influence and guide in line with business objectives and values. Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, communication, and presentation skills, coupled with strong analytical and financial acumen. Comfort working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment, with the capability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels. A proactive approach to process improvement, dedicated to finding solutions that benefit all stakeholders.
Exceptional business acumen, with a deep understanding of the implications of decisions on growth and profitability within the lighting market. Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, internet research, and office email. Willingness to engage in extensive domestic travel. Ideally possess a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; an advanced degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
